Happy New Year to all...

As we start 2007, your Association is moving ahead. As your President, I continue to reach out to our brethren in Rockland County. We are a group of firefighters who need to work together to build a united organization. Our brothers in Piermont and New City will be hosting us. Tallman Fire Company has been inquiring about getting involved with us again. This is a start that we need to see continued. The Firemen's Home in Hudson is planning a rededication and opening of their Firemen's Museum in May. There is interest in putting together a bus trip to Hudson for this special event. If you are interested please get to a meeting and let us know.

Your Association is planning some minor by-law changes this year. We are working on purchasing golf shirts for the officers and members. We are planning to increase our death benefit.

I'm working on adding Presidential Citations to those who have gone above & beyond in their respective departments. These people need to be recognized. This group can be members of FD, PD, and EMS that bring us all closer together.

Remember our 100th Anniversary is coming. Any member that wants to help please let us know. We are open minded to all ideas. I'm still in need of a June 2007 Convention host. Again we are open to any ideas, while a parade is nice, it can be costly. I will listen to any other ideas any potential host offers.
